Use scissors to snip off the extra tape at the end of the shaft.
Cut a piece of aquarium tubing to about 3/4" length.
Wet both the tubing and the electrical tape (to make them slippery), and carefully push the tubing over the taped motor shaft.
Snip off the end of the tubing so there’s about 1/4" extra beyond the motor shaft. The rubber tubing should be about 1/2" long.
Repeat Steps 1 through 7 for the other motor. Remember, you need two!
Don’t cut the tubing too short! If you do, then when the motor is mounted on the robot, the “tires” may not properly touch the ground.
